Identify the bass

I'm only seeing one pickup at the neck. I see a bridge, but no bridge pick up. Only two controls.

Bridge mute cover (bottom pic) almost makes it look like a Rivoli, but it isn't. Pick guard's a different shape. Horns different shape.

  1. My EB-2 has a mini-toggle switch instead of the push button because when I bought it new in 1968 (it's a 66 but it must have been hanging round the store for 2 years) within the first week of ownership the push button broke off. It was made of plastic. I don't know how other EB basses have their plastic push button still intact 54 years later. I have a Gibson replacement in the case but never had it installed.
