actually, and this has been discussed again recently, we will probably not only award mod status to every other registered member of the site before username n/a, but also each of the following :

1. auction mod status on ebay for $.01

2. open a bunch of accounts on a chinese nike sneaker discussion forum and spam "talkbass.com mod status for free" in broken/improper mandarin.

3. put our money together and pay borat to register here just so we could make him a moderator.

4. change the site to a fishing discussion forum.

...all before we give you him status.
