6. My own design 4 string fretted by either Bud or Stambaugh

9. MM-P or J-P P bass w/ jazz neck, active, 4 string fretless

My total list of basses I'd like to own is around 20 though... :D

In no order of preference:

1. Fender American Deluxe Fretless Jazz bass, with Badass II bridge and an epoxy job by the guy at epoxyfretless.com
2. An Alembic Series II, made completely custom to my specifications (custom inlays, hand-picked (by myself) wood for the body etc.)
3. A nice, old, hand-carved, German-made upright bass

I think I would be set after that . . .

and i've been a very very very very good boy this year so hopefully santa will bring me one of the above basses for christmas......ok maybe i've only been very very very good......very very......very......ok i've really tried this year.......OH COME ON GIVE ME A FREAKIN BREAK......WHAT DO I HAVE 24 HOUR SURVEILANCE!?!?!?!?....... it's hard to be a saint in the city...anyone? anyone? come on someone has to know that?
