Not cheatin', just too lazy to take a full new pic. The Clover, Cirrus and MTD Kingston basses in the first pic are indeed gone. Replaced by an F Bass, Brubaker and Roscoe. Seems fair;)

I'm trying to downsize but in this market...

speaking of downsizing, how well do you know that guy who's auctioning the conk 7? have you seen the bass?

Wait, some of you guys have INSANE collections! Very nice.

10 huh? I would definately have the three I have setteled with

1) R bass 5 singlecut
2) MTD 535
3) Tacoma acoustic (As good as any other acoustic)

And then

4) NS upright 5
5) Ritter classic 5
6) F bass 6
7) MTD 635 Norm Stockton
8) Fender or early stingray

and my two rock basses

9) Custom thunderbird 5 made either by Keith Roscoe or Chris Benavante (probably chris so I could get wider spacing)
10) BC Rich Kerry King wartribe as a 5 string.

WOW that was fun!

At first I thought this was a joke in response to the "what one bass" kinda question. But it is a serious and interesting thread.
1. I'd keep my Pedulla MVP (or get another one and cheat by calling this one selection),
2. I'd get another 1960 stack knob jazz - I never cared as much for the later years.
3. Bebensee (just to look at if nothing else)
4. Conklin 7 string
5. Zon Hyperbass
6. Ampeg baby bass
7. Carl Thompson 6
8. 1800's era string bass
9. Kay 5 string upright
10. Oh no, I'm out of numbers and I still need a Renaissannce (sp?), Alembic, Tobias, Spector, Sadowsky, ...
