20) My own very very very very versatile custom creation (I have the ideas... but they are top secret)

ok so that's 10 of each... 10 I have and 10 I don't

I may never realistically have a few of them so I will replace a few of the numbers with something a little lower on my gas list

8 A Modulus 6 string with EMGs
9 An EUB 5 string (my modified Ergo would do nicely)
10 A Squier Jazz bass left out for people to pick up and leave my good basses alone

I don't know enough about boutiques and super high end basses BUt if I had the money and was told to go get ten basses I am sure I would want a variety. First on the list would be a MIA Pbass jsut to see how much better it sounds than my Squier P. I would have to keep my Rick 4003 unless I could trade it for a blue one (to match my truck) I would probably upgrade my ABG not sure what brand or model. I am definately interested in a fretless, a five string and an active bass and maybe for fun one that was all of the above. If I am counting right I now have room for three more God I would suck at being rich.

This might be interesting

Electric-
1. Ibanez GSR200
2. Ibanez SR305
3. Warwick Corvette Fretless (4 string)
4. Warwick Corvette Fretted (4 string) possibly in a different colour than the fretless, not that it's relevant
5. Rickenbacker 4001 or 4003
6. Rickenbacker double-neck bass & guitar (like Geddy's)
7. Fender Marcus Miller Jazz
8. Fender Geddy Lee Jazz
9. At least one six string

Upright-
10. Any upright, I don't know enough about them to specify a brand. I'd probably go for the newer ones with very slim bodies though, just for ease of transport.

I probably forgot one or two by throwing in the double-neck Rick, but oh well.

Hmm Okay I'll play -

I've been fortunate to already have some pretty cool stuff

4. Status Black Beauty King

This is a list I have been thinking about for the last week or so, actually. This is pretty much in the order that I want them. Not the order I can afford, tho...

1) Gibson Thunderbird II in Pelham Blue Poly (I would take any finish, in any sort of condition....but come on, this is a wish list)
2) Yamaha BB2200 - read more at the end
3) Gibson RD Artist - the darker one. I want to call it a rootbeer burst. No idea what the real finish name is.
4) Wal Mark I
5) Fender Tele Bass - the one with the big neck pickup
6) Fender Coronado
7) Fender Geddy Lee Jazz
8) Rickenbacker 4003
9) Fender Jaguar
10) Fender '62 P bass

Also, I didn't want to take away from the 10 list, but I couldn't do without my current basses (as seen in my signature)

A note on the Yamaha BB2200. When I first decided I wanted to play bass (either summer 2001 or 2002...I was about 11 or 12), I asked my parents to buy me one. My parents, being the smart people they are, didn't want to throw down money and me decided I didn't like it. So they told me to ask around and see if somebody had a bass I could borrow for a couple months first to play with and see how I felt about it. Thus, a BB2200 came into my lap. I'm not 100% sure it was a BB2200 - that is the model I remember but I can't seem to find any information about this bass online. I remember it sounding pretty good but what do I know, it was the first bass I ever picked up and I had it for three months.
So I really want to get this bass back, mostly for nostalgic reasons, but I am pretty sure it was decent...

6. Aria ZZB
7. '66 Fender Precision (SLAB BASS!!!)

10. Dean ML bass (just for the shape)
