I would start with the two I have

'92 Heartfield DR5
'96 Musicman Stingray 5

After that I would love to talk my great uncle out of his 1960 somthing or other Fender may be I'll get lucky and have him will it to me.

I would add
a custom fretted 10 string (5 string with octives)
a custom fretless 5
a custom fretted 5
(I have things in mind for these already, just need the $$)

an upright
an electric upright

That is only 8, but that would cover me.

I've already posted in this thread twice but considering it was in 04 and 06 I guess I can post again!

2) Stambaugh 5 string (just like the white one, but lake placid blue, and with J+MM pickups)
3) Stambaugh 5 string fretless, chambered body, piezos, single bridge pickup
4) Stambaugh 5 string singlecut
5) Fender Jazz, Ash / Maple with Nordstrands (have it)
6) Fender PJ with flats (have it)
7) Upright (have it)

That's plenty of basses for me. :D 8-10 can be guitars.

Second Category: Ernie Ball/Music Man StingRay

Third Category: Uprighty-ness and Experimental

If I ever get to this point, I'll sell off the '92 Jazz (which was my first bass) to get it back to ten only. Either that, or I'll just keep buying more basses!

1 - Sunburst, 1962 Fender Jazz with flats.
2 - Sunburst, 1962 Fender Jazz with rounds.
3 - Transparent red or Dark-natural, 60's Guild Starfire II with flats.
4 - Transparent red, 60's Gibson ED-2 with rounds.
5 - 70's Fender Jazz with mahogany body, rosewood fingerboard. Lacquer on the body and a shiny epoxy finish on the board.
6 - Some type of burst, Rickenbacker 4003 with rounds + a pick.

Damn... I tried to get all the way up to ten but i can't. ^^
