If You Could Only Have One Pedal

This one would do the trick - considering how badly I play sometimes. Honestly, though, I've never felt the need for pedals. I don't think they're bad, or useless, or anything; it's just that, given what I like to play, and that one of my amps (converted-to-bass '70s Rickenbacker) has effects in it anyway, I don't need them. Well, maybe a chorus pedal, if it will stop some friends bugging me about getting one all the time...

As much as I'd miss my fuzz pedals and the rest, I'm going with the Fairfield Barbershop ME just on practicality. Classic low gain tones, responds to playing dynamics, can go straight to DI (with the hi cut engaged), and makes my other dirt pedals sound better....of course, that doesn't help if I can't keep the others....

I'm actually not sure, if it were I'm sure Dr Balls would have stated, he's pretty good at giving that info out when his design is based on an existing one. Would a picture of the inside help?

Unfortunately, I'm electronically inept. But someone here probably could tell. There's a picture of the insides on the website along with a clip that sounds pretty good Invalid Link Removed/. But thanks for the post---good to hear from someone who's using it!
