It's forcing us to scrutinize the pedals that we do have, reinforcing our choices as the best for us, and really looking at our tone. We definitely need our dirt/overdrive!

Besides...the B7K is like a preamp/DI, EQ, blend, boost and drive in a single pedal. It actually replaced four other pedals on my board.

Better than that, I gained something! The B7K sounds better than the Rube-Goldberg setup it'd been running previously.

I'd choose something that I was able to get a cleanish boost,nice o.d. all the way up to full blown fuzz. I'm sure there's something like that. I just don't know what it is

I guess it will have to be my Joyo D53 Dr. J Sparrow Driver and DI for Bass (it's a copy of a very good brand) but less than half the cost of original. DOD Boneshaker distortion is also nice to have.
