Really hard question, though probably my Ric, even though I prefer fretless. It’s the best sounding bass I’ve ever played, and I doubt I’d be able to find another quite like it.

I have reverse GAS these days. Sold off almost all of my basses except for my Blackburst L2K.

Are those tapewounds on there? Interesting choice for an L2K. What kind?

I always used flatwounds on my L2K's to tame the pickups a bit.

My forever bass since 1982 has been a Carvin LB50 Koa stereo bass dubbed Taz. I have played that bass nearly every day and every show since then on six continents. I have other basses that I also play and love dearly but they will always be #2 to my main squeeze.

I guess it would have to be my Fender jaco pastorius. I have 2 of them, this is the 2nd one that just came in last week. So I'd like to keep both if possible..

Probably my Precision. I use other two a lot more, but whenever I open up the case, I still get that NBD tingle. Not to mention, it also plays like a champ
