Ive been the keyboard player in bands and now Im playing guitar in my current every-now-and-then band.......other than that and occasional fill-ins, Ive pretty much quit the music scene altogether

I am still enjoying the Chapman Stick and hoping to start doing occasional solo gigs in the foreseeable future

I am already unable to play bass because the "temporary apartment" is so small that my basses are under the bed and amps in the storage closet on the balcony.
This is why I have a bass in my work truck, to maybe get 15 minutes in at lunch.

If that was taken away, I'd resort to playing pocket pool.

Hammond Organ. I've tried to teach myself how to play such a thing over the years, but I'm just too dumb. Even owned 3 of them for a while (only one cost anything), a Vox Jaguar and and 2 Wurlitzer pianos.
I can barely play one note at a time over 3 octaves after 40 years so I don't now why I ever thought I could play keys.

I'm the bass player and the #2 trumpeter when needed in my band. I would spend actual time and energy on the trumpet.

I would think that if I could no longer play bass then I could not longer play a lot of other musical instruments. Being that this is hypothetical I'd say Guitar, Mando an Banjo as I already dabble in those. Then I would become more of a singer as well. If that didn't work out I would do sound. If that didn't work out either I think I'd play dead.

Guitar, because I already can play, if I were to move over to an instrument I don't have much experience on it would be either tenor or alto sax, they are by far the most expressive instruments I've ever tried.
