Custom desing monson bass. Cause I like monsons willingness to do more metal, pointy, odd but nice, body styles. With some of the money left over Id replace the stock pups. You do get choices, but still, Id have them put theyre basic ones in and replace those.

I too would build another Warmoth bass. This time a five string jazz style with a high C and a Hipshot on the E string. Passive humbucking J style pickups. Chambered alder body with a fancy top. It would be fretless with a Moses carbon fiber neck.

If the $2k could only be spent on a bass? 'Cause I got the $2k, but I really don't need any more high end basses.

I suppose I'd put it towards a Wal or a Lull Thunderbird. I'd need more than just $2k, though.

Stu Hamm Urge2 or Yamaha Attitude. Maybe another vintage Fender P bass like a beat up 74 Sunburst with Maple neck and fingerboard or nicotine stained Olympic white with a rosewood fingerboard that is so dirty that it looks like Ebony. Both would have warped black scratched to hell pickguards. You know, a real road worn bass.
