My suggestion is to buy a Sadowsky 5 and sell the other two basses.

Thanks for all the input. All good points. In the end I think I keep both. The Sadowsky will be my #1 for now and the Stingray 5 will be my #2 for when we pay originals with alternate tunings and play covers in different keys than the original. If I join a different band down the road the Stingray 5 may become my #1 depending on the material. Two different flavors of awesome in the end.

I had a Sadowsky 5 and the neck was unwieldy for me.

A G&L L2000 and a Digitech Drop pedal for the off tuning
I play L2500 and the bands I work with tune down 1/2 step and a whole step so using the Digitech allows me to keep my basses tuned standard.
