I recall, as a youth, having too much gear, too many pedals and no money left for clothing. I, too, played too many notes to the detriment of my timing. I mistook the raised eye-brows of my fellow musicians for bemused irony instead of disbelief.

He needs a few outings with a Pixies cover band - you know, some folks who'll beat him with a stick if he plays like this.

Maybe he recorded the bass straight to the computer and then added the same click he played with straight to it? That would explain the bad timing if he didn't go back and edit.

I've considered that as well, but there do seem to be parts where he is at least close, so in that case, either way his sense of time is non-existent.

Epic fail. Once again an overextensive use of effects to cover up for lack of talent. If at first you cannot play bass get a pedal to make it sound like a guitard . Double epic Fail!

I think he had some solid ideas...he definitely knows his scales. As many have said, his timing is terrible, and umm...yeah whammy pedal. Eesh.
