Full body aches since Friday. No fever, no cough, or intestinal problems. So not the flu. Third time in six weeks. Only pain meds and water.

If I don't move and stay under a blanket I feel tiny bit better.

I did get out Friday afternoon and visit the Charter/Spectrum cable co. Just happens to be about 2 minutes away.

Upped my internet to 400 and got second DVR. Cut out all premium channels.

Like a new world!

I am on day eight of some sort of flu. Feeling a bit better now but have had a sore throat for a couple of days, now; I was running between 99.8º and 101º all week, but it seems to be down, now. Plus, other gross stuff I won't throw at all y'all.

I was feeling really lethargic, too. Got lots of sleep, though, which I am usually sorely lacking in. I am sick of drinking, at this point. I haven't even pickups a bass since last weekend (I did play a couple of my acoustic guitars, though :smug:).

I'm with @hrodbert696 . I'm the last guy to recommend a doctor as the first course of action, but with things like you're describing, I don't mess around. If it's some sort of bacterial thing going on, they can knock it right out of you. Untreated, well... you can use your imagination. Pete Steele played hero with some sort of flu like symptoms he thought would pass. Then his girlfriend finally dragged him to a hospital.

Wishing you well, and hoping we scared you a little.

Like said before, this is how RA starts. You need to get a simple blood test to check your Rheumatoid Factor. Your GP can do that for you. No need for a rheumatologist unless your Rheumatoid factor comes back from the lab high. Hope you feel better.
Exactly. You probably need to see your GP anyway if you need a rheumatology referral. It's not a fun diagnosis but it's treatable - I have for 20 years now. Good luck and here's hoping it's not.
