aYUP,
THIS sounds like a typical customer that is G.C. loyal...![]()
I wouldn't say I'm Guitar Center loyal but I've bought many things there. Why not? It's a store and they had what I needed or wanted at the time.

I buy my cables from there. Lifetime warranty? Great deal! I buy books there as well. Oh, bought a pair of 30$ headphones there recently. It isn't like I have completely boycotted them, I refuse to do any business there that involves dealing with anyone other than a cashier.I wouldn't say I'm Guitar Center loyal but I've bought many things there. I was actually guitar teching for a friends band, and had to stop in for strings every once in a while. We stopped at GC because they had the stores pinned on the GPS. I have honestly never seen a Sam Ash store in all of my travels

Oh God,I'm sorry but your responses sound very condescending, so it's hard to get a read on what you mean by them.
^^^^Yeah, but they're not all bad.
One of the stores by my house has a guitar tech who is almost a genius. I had one guitar player friend that recommended him specifically. There was some kind of problem with the neck of his axe and the tech fixed it quickly and efficiently. If he could get over the habit of setting basses up way too high he would be amazing. I like it up a little higher than most people, but that is redic.
Again, seems to depend on the particular personnel at the particular location. I wouldn't let either of the techs at the other location in town touch my bass with a 10 foot pole and two condoms.
^^^^
This.
A girl by the name of Julie. Her name tag reads "Scary". She used to work at the local Tempe GC. Graduate of the Roberto Venn school. Her set ups were unreal. Real attention to detail. Sadly, she transferred to a Denver store.

Oh - and Sam Ash is nothing special, I'm here to tell you.
You haven't missed much.I've never been to LA

I would be sad to miss the opportunity to visit a site that pertained to something I was interested in.
I would liken it to having NEVER set foot in a Hooters.
preposterous.![]()
LOLWho needs Hooters when there is Twin Peaks![]()
Have you ever seen Tilted Kilt? Puts Hooters to shame.LOL
I am guessing then,
