Impending 2014 purchases

I had a really slow gear year in 2013 right up until November and December when I had a flurry of buying and selling, I made a lot of changes which affected my drums, basses and guitar setups.

With two American Fender P basses, an EBMM Stingray and my vintage Tele bass, I'm in good shape bass wise. (For now...)

I joined the rank of Ampeg owners with the purchase of a SVT 3 Pro two weeks ago. I'm looking to add a cabinet in 2014. I was leaning toward a fEarful, but am now seriously considering an Ampeg SVT 212 AV.

After that I'm going to concentrate on replacing my current PA system with a Prosonus Studiolive/QSC K series system. This upgrade could take a few years. (I've been slowly upgrading all of my live mics over the past couple of years. Maybe I can finish that project this year.)

I don't have any drums or cymbals on the radar currently, but it's likely that I'll trip over something that "I've just GOT to have" during the course of the year.

I have more basses than i NEED but not as many as I WANT.....

With that in mind, in the coming year I would like to acquire.....

A Fender Coronado Bass (TSB)

A Fender Starcaster Bass (Natural)

A Fender Deluxe Dimension IV (Natural)

And some kind of 8 X 10 cab to go with THIS:

My brand-new custom-made all-tube bass amp made by Mark Ashley over at HammerTone Amps. According to Mark, the B-100 is a 100-watt bass amp that is.....

" basically a Fender Showman normal channel with a cathode biased power section. The cathode (self) biasing saves you the trouble of manually biasing plus the power tubes are biased in pairs which gives you the option of "pulling" 2 of them for reduced power practice".

Aside from all that, I guess I'm pretty good, equipment wise!;)

Squier VM Telecaster Bass Special
Yamaha TRBX304
Ibanez ATK300 or some other model
Epiphone EB3 (ive had bad results in the past, but really wanna try again)
Any USA Peavey, especially Patriot, T40, Forum, or G-Bass

I probably wont have the means financially for all these in 2014 (unless there is a lotto involved lol) but its so hard to choose haha. oh well, if i find a deal, i'll pounce i guess.

I have a few things on my list that I will have by 2015.
- Original SVT Head and Cab
- Fender Jazz Bass (Still looking for the right one.)
- A few pedals, main one being the Sansamp
- Parts Bass (At least started)

I'd also like to have a Big Al, 70's P bass maple fretless in Oly. White, and some Electronic music instruments/tools. But those are not must have by 2015!

Probably one of each of these. The FSR for a second that I can light mod, and the Amp to set my 50BXT on top of just because. None of it will show up until I have cash in hand, because my resolution for this year is pay off nothing on credit.

The above 2 might take a back seat if I make the first 5 month plan on paying stuff off work and I run across one of these, but it will be a cash deal to. Then the amp will have to wait for a little later in the year. Just at the sit back and see how things go.
