Impending 2014 purchases

a rackmount strategy, reddi, sensaphonic earplugs, max/msp, maybe a myco three, maybe a cali 76 or DE-CL if they pop up, new wheels for my nv610, and whatever it will take to interface into ableton for live performance.

that being said, an svt-vr will be up for sale in the coming months for anyone interested!

I have 2 Fodera 5er customs coming in 2014. A fretless and a fretted. That should do it for me.

If anything, I am downsizing my arsenal big time. I used to have 18 basses, the plan is to have 4... The Foderas, a Jazz and a Precision.

I am set for effects and amps, so 2014 should be fairly quiet on the bass gear front for me.

between my am dlx jazz v, (last years x-mas present from my gf) my new gibson eb with flats (this years x-mas from my most awesome gf), plus my washburn force5 abt, and peavey grind 6, im ok for basses i really need to work on my amp and cabs. my old marshall cabs are getting tired my 7400 dbs head needs to go to the shop. my acoustic 370 let out the factory smoke a couple years ago. my cousin disintegrated all 4 original drivers in my acoustic 408 cab, with 1200 watts, a few years ago. im interested in maybe 2X12 and/or 4X12 cabs. my carvin bx 500 still kicks like new. however as happy as i am with the carvin and all i feel the need for a tube head and maybe another class d just for options. :ninja: i dont like my only back up head being a carvin pa 1200. :hiding:

And most importantly, getting my 79 SD Curlee Standard One back from Scott Beckwith having been refinished and renecked! This is priority one!

I'm set as far as basses go.

I do, however, need a new amp in the very near future (took a much needed break from gigging, sold my Eden rig, now new band is in the works, so I need a new amp).

Tried out a Markbass LMT800 and 104HR cabinet a few weeks ago, and really, really dug it. So, chances are, my main gear purchase is going to be a new Markbass rig.

That, and some upgrades to our PA system.
