Fair enough - I see they’ve gone up quite a bit since last time I checked.

I had a quick look at the prices at Thomann, and they seem to be going for between $3500 and $4000, depending on finish and other options.

It does not sound the same from videos I have watched.

Confirmed. Compared to my EB Darkray (that i sold and tried to grab this one because i miss it) this one sounds subpar. The distortion and fuzz circuits sounds like knock-offs. They lack the smoothness and sound harsh to my ears. Also the electronics are noisy and there is an audible pop when changing from clean to distortion. Maybe the pickup just doesn't play nice with the DG electronics. Not sure. I get about the same distortion sound from my Joyo Monomyth. Budget is budget I suppose.
The bass itself feels great. No issues there. No problems with the tuners.
