What if I do everything in one go, though? I only plan to do shoulders and chest. I'm a fit enough guy, and I'm not really doing it for any other reason other than to pick up girls.
Doing something once a week, even if you do all the body parts isn´t going to get you anywhere IMHO.
I started training in the beginning of january, I decided to change my lifestyle.
I´ve cut out all junk food, all soda and nearly all candy, I´m a sucker for some chocolate every now and then though.
My diet includes fish, chicken, vegetables, brown rice etc.
I´m going now to a special class which is three times a week. It´s an intense workout with lots of reps and as a result of that a high cardio training.
Besides that I´m now also going to the gym another three times a week just to do the low reps/heavy weights thing since I want to build up some muscle.
I divided my body in three parts, one day is legs+abs, then it´s chest+back and the third day is arms and shoulders (if I recall correctly). But I do some kind of ab training during the "non-ab" days too.
When I finish this special class, I will then still work out 6 times a week and do a cardio every third or fourth session.
By eating right and excercising often you get results, not just by going once a week.
I did legs yesterday, and when you have problems walking up a flight of stairs right after the legwork, you know that you really worked them!
