I always thought this was a good idea. I've just never been motivated enough to make it worth the cash I'd spend on them.
I'll join in and say that a little bit of charm and humor will get you farther with the ladies. Women want you to be yourself, not some iron pumping 'roid raging workoutaholic, who's only reason for working out is to meet chicks.

It's normally a good idea to stay away from fitness websites that make all kinds of dramatic claims like that one does.
