Double Bass Indiana University Orchestra auditions

i can tell you what happened last year. it's pretty standard, you get a list of excerpts at some point this summer, then they'll pick a day for the auditions during the first week or so of school. the committee is behind a screen (expect a big name to come and help adjudicate) and you play a handful of licks in the first round, then 10 people advance and play another handful and a solo. placement ensues. good luck and happy preparation, see you there.
