Input needed on selling issue

One thing that bugs me is this pickup routing thing. Those American Deluxe P basses with the"double jazz" pickup are some of the most sought after basses Fender ever made. That shop says it's a pickup design flaw that causes it buzzimg????

Puhleeeeeeeez.

Man, what a hassle! I can guarantee that at least half of the people that try "my setup" will get buzz because I have a light touch and can get away with a lower setup. It's possible dude has a heavy hand and that's part of the problem. Good luck with the resolution.

So do we have to start adding this to our listings? "For a refund to be considered, evaluation must be provided in writing from an INDEPENDENT or DEDICATED guitar repair facility. Chain stores do not apply."

Seems reasonable to me.

He can take a hike for modding it too.. that right there nullified anything.

I've so far had eBay remove negative feedback from two buyers/scammers who were trying to use feedback blackmail for financial gain, in both cases though they were dumb enough to leave a clear trail through eBay messaging.

I've sold a couple of things through Reverb and both transactions were hassle-free, but then Reverb still has the mutual feedback system...

So in your cases, ebay intervened to stop scam buyers. That's good.

In my Reverb case, Reverb assisted a seller-scammer to maintain his "clean" feedback score by erasing the negative I gave him. Not good.
