Instant GAS!, Ibanez BTB686SC

Wow, I did not know that Brutes come with a coil splitter for the humbucker. At $800 or so, they are looking like a great deal. A local store carries them, so I will have to check them out.

Yep... Now you know why I got GAS for one... My only wish is that the burst came with a burst pickguard like the double cutaways... I love that look... Reminds me of the Antigua Ps

There's one on ebay for 799.

I really want to be all over it, but it would blow my Christmas budget. The kids don't really NEED presents, do they?

I knew when I saw this bass that it was for me. Short of being semi-acoustic (like Thundercat's bass) it is my ideal instrument. I was in luck, my local Long & McQuade had one in stock. I picked it up last night. I haven't put it down other than to change the strings to TI Jazz Flats.

Awesome, congrats!

There's one of these beauties at one of my local shops. Every time I walk in and see it, my heart skips a beat. For that reason, I refuse to even pick it up. I can't really afford it right now, and honestly don't even have a need for it. But it's just gorgeous.

I'm not much for the "stretched" single cutaway style, but I love the double cutaway BTB shapes. Ought to play my 6er more.
