Christmas. Keeping all religious aspects aside, it's the time of the year when I get to see the most of my family. Namely my one aunt who decided to quit her lucrative job and take a one way ticket to Kathmandu. I'll get to see her on Christmas, too.

...Words cannot convey how envious I am of her.

The seafood repair shop? I no longer eat meat, but when I did I'd head to the local deli, buy a 1/2 Lb of jumbo cooked shrimp and a package of bacon.

Soak wooden skewers in water for 20 min. Slice bacon strips in thirds.
Wrap bacon around shrimp and slide onto prepared skewer. Repeat. 5 shrimp per stick.
Roll skewer in brown sugar. Dust with chili powder. Grill over medium heat until bacon is cooked.


Best use of bacon, ever?

Umm as to the answer ... how much time ya got? I mean ... it's bacon.

Personally, I love it in warm German potato salad. It takes something wonderful, and transforms it into something mind blowingly good.

Oh, pizza. You have no idea how much I love pizza. Define piece? I can eat a 16" regular thin-crust pepperoni pizza from Cassano's (easily) or a 14" hand-tossed pepperoni pizza or I did once eat a large Pizza Hut hawaiian pan pizza by myself. I can down almost a large pan meat lovers from pizza hut, but not quite the whole thing. Or a 11" Socrates revenge from Dewey's. I could probably eat more there but I always have a salad first so I'm not positive. Oh man am I hungry!!!

(btw, no, I'm not overweight. Though you'd never guess from the way I eat sometimes)

What is your favorite pizza crust type? And have you ever had a double decker/double crusted pizza?

Normal, deep dish is too dough-y and thin crust is meh. Double crusts make me sick :hmm:

Which would you rather deal with? 110 degree heat with little to no humidity or 95 degree heat with high humidity?

That's tough. Having only lived in one place, I'm not sure of the reality of other climates. I think I'd like warmer and by the sea with a bit of breeze (Hawaii-type) but I'm afraid it would get old after a while. I'm used to having all 4 seasons. I think I'd miss them. So I guess roughly what I have now. Fun Ohio 4-seasons-in-one-day climate. But Oregon does sound nice, too...

Are you good at making quick decisions?
