iPhone 5 ... anyone?

Galaxy Note 2 is the best device on the market today. I just upgraded my from the Galaxy Nexus and could not be happier. At my age (49) I love the large screen. Also, I love the flexibility of android. I had an Ipod years ago and got tired of the operating system in a couple of months. I can make an android phone look like and do anything I want. Iphones are too locked down for my taste. Additionally, you have to see the power of the s pen and split screen on the Note 2. It's really great.

My father, brother, sisters and I have been HUGE Apple fans/supporters since the original iPhone came out...

I came from a 3gS to the 5

My wife, son and stepson are Samsung Galaxy IIIS owners

After having my phone for less than 6 months, if I could do it over again, I'd go with Samsung

The Galayxy note II is great, i bought one for my Wife, and she is really happy with all features it has. She's a teacher so she can make use of those features. Plus the phone it's hughe, so she not likely to loose it.

Just curious, but what about the headphone jack on the bottom makes it better for you than it being on the top?

It's stupid to have one cable coming out of the top and one out of the bottom. While driving in my car charging and listening. Imaging how awkward it is.

Now imagine you slip it I. Your pocket while listening to earphones. I don't know about you, but it coming out of the top and trying to take a quick peek or change songs which is easier? Cord coming out the bottom facing up..

You can jail break your phone

I'd rather not. Besides, that's just one thing that annoys me. There is plenty more, just little things. Apple has a sleek user interface, but I feel like they are behind the curve when it comes to many other things.

Doing it over again I'd probably go Galaxy S3. My wife had an S2 and she loved it. We both went to the iPhone 5 this time around.

Please try the Samsung GS3 . I looked hard at the GS3 and the iPhone 5 and went with the GS3. I could explain why it's a better phone, and get in an internet debate, but instead let me just say - please don't buy the hype - research the reviews and then try them out.

Agreed! I'm a GS3 user and have used Blackberry, Apple, and Android and this is the best phone I've owned. I really enjoy it.

No it's not. What's up with all the lies

Its not? Because it says that it is directly on the phone. And it was free due to my upgrade.

I do that easily with the phone jack on the top of my phone.
My charging connection is on the side of my phone, not the bottom, so I dont have an issue with it.
