iPhone 5 ... anyone?

Please try the Samsung GS3 . I looked hard at the GS3 and the iPhone 5 and went with the GS3. I could explain why it's a better phone, and get in an internet debate, but instead let me just say - please don't buy the hype - research the reviews and then try them out.

But if you have all Mac stuff, an iPhone just makes sense.

I have the Samsung Galaxy S3 and I use it constantly for work and while traveling - it's excellent. I have no desire to look at any phone with an i-prefix. Fantastic phone, and I don't have to fund Apple's evil empire to put software or music on it.

Unfortunately, that is likely the case. Therein lies one of the many reasons I stay away from Apple's proprietary hardware and software stranglehold. I love not having to use the bloated iTunes software to transfer things to my phone, and I love being able to easily find and use a ubiquitous standard micro USB cord lying around for charging and connecting.

No, the 4 can out is August of 2010, the 4s came out in September is 2011 and the 5 came out in October of 2012. How does that equal 6 months between releases? By my count it is 13 months.

Yeah, it is supposed to be a lower priced alternative aimed at edging markets. There should be a full step up model come out in the fall.

I got an iPhone 5, used it for a week then gave it to my wife and took her 4S.

Didn't really like the larger screen and the 4S was JailBroken and I have a lot of great JB tweaks on it. (iP5's can't be jailbroken yet).

Forget the screen, going from 3g to LTE is like going from dial up to broadband! The 5 is worth it just for the LTE!

Nah. I have no issue with 3G. It's fast enough for watching Youtube, NetFlix, Surfing the web, checking emails, etc.

I just asked, because it lokked like the only option for LTE was the IPhone 5. Are guys getting LTE flat or limited? Here in Germany, depending on the Provider you get a Limted amount of LTE and then you are downgraded to 64Kbps.

Oh...the battery life is better too. I guess the extra length allows for bigger battery.

I found the battery life less. But I love the headphones jack on the bottom, it was stupid for it to ever be on the top
