Ipod Touch questions.

I've had mine since Christmas. 2G, 16 GB. Music quality is great, and as much as I didn't like Apple before, I gotta say that iTunes is handy. Some pretty good free apps, but you'll have to pay for the really good ones. Sensors are just right for me. Internet is Wifi, so anywhere you can access a Wifi network, you're good to go. No camera.

I really love mine, and am glad I chose it over the iPhone. Some of my friends are getting destroyed by the data plan, and while 3G is convenient (ie Google maps when you're lost), a TON of places offer Wifi now.

You gave me an idea on a thread to start about iPod/iPhone apps.
edit: NVM, there's already several threads on iPhone apps. Just search "iphone apps".

My favorites thus far:
Google
Google Maps
Crazy Penguin
Pandora
Scramble
Zynga LivePoker
Epocrates

Was actually referring to the idea to start an iPod/iPhone Apps thread.

I would say it depends on how much you really are looking to use the browser and apps. If you're looking for more of an mp3 player, I'd suggest the iPod classic. If you think you'll actually use the extra features quite regularly, then yes, it's probably worth it. I almost never use the music player on my iPhone, but kill LOTS of time using the free apps. I usually just stay on the 3G rather than connect to wifi, though, so I won't really comment on the browser speed. I do use it for TB and Facebook and eBay all the time since those are blocked at work.

My bad. I did a quick search after I wrote that and made the edit, guessing while you were typing your post :p

To get back to this thread then...I have no major complaints about mine, except people keep walking up and touching it.
