Fmeron is an excellent pedal, and I'd keep it if I could, but this seems to be the only way to aquire any IE pedals these days.

Haven't really touched my pedals in awhile but I'm slowly bringing them back. Sat with the XD for a bit just now and I'm feeling flummoxed again. I know there are lots of variables at play but I was clicking through some demo videos and trying to match my settings to achieve similar sounds and just couldn't hear the pedal reacting the same way. I'll have to spend more time with it after work, try some other basses with different input levels, but just wanted to kinda publicly scratch my head and see what y'all had to say about getting sounds out of it.

For my dry tone, it took a while to figure out the sweet spot between the Freq knob and the sensitivity knob. If you think of the Freq as the "low" point of the sweep, and Sens as the "high" point, it becomes a little easier to conceptualize their relationship. Then you can adjust the Res to emphasize the highest part of the envelope and make the sound 'wetter'.

It also responds well to a signal with lots of harmonics. If you have any kind of saturation or distortion going in to the Xero, the effect will be much more dramatic.
