hey all - to all those who had the chance to play with a subt / xero and a dubt / xero or dubterrgraph, are there any significant improvements/differences? I have early subt and xero on my board, very happy with them both, but was wondering what the differences are with the newer models and how significant they are.

I've stayed away from pedal purchases in the last couple of years, but the Arcing Prisms has sparked my interest again and now I am looking at everything else lol. (and I already have subt/xerod/frantabit/nimbus and polytope).

Also FMeron - I don't really understand how very different it is from the sub+xero combo (admittedly, from the clips I listened to very quickly), so school me please.

Lately, I have been discovering and enjoying some of the awesome modulation sounds you can pull with the tamer settings on the Arcing Prisms. Some of these chiller settings are pretty incredible. I've been exploring these areas on the dials...

When I had a DubT I really, really liked the upper octave option. And I also wish I tried out the synth effects loop when I had it. But after trying out a slew of octavers over the past year I went with the SubT as I felt more at home with my playing technique and how to control an analog octaver more than a digital one. The DubT though did track much lower and was much cleaner (if that makes sense?). But I wasn't comfortable with controlling its behavior in regards to my playing style. In regards to pairing with the Xerograph, I felt they were pretty much the same in interaction. I also only had the DubT for a little over a month or so, so YMMV.

I hadn't fully dove in on the Arcing Prisms...I mean ofcourse I plugged in and checked it out but it only saw one jam board and I was using it for weird noise/space...this thing is capable of some really incredible flanger/phaser/chorus type sounds. I still lean towards it's outer space sounds but this is really the first time I let go of the robot ring mody sounds it does. With expression it's a total animal!!!
