Arcing Prisms can do so much more than a little wiggle, but definitely gets wiggly if you want it to in the tamer settings on the pedal. For a little wiggle, I'd recommend any of the more modern lofi delays that seem to be released every other day. I've been using an EAE Hypersleep for this and loving it. The hypersleep is out of print now, but there are a bunch of lofi things out there from pladask electrisk or even midfi electronics among others.

I've got an El Cap I'm enamored with for delay. I'm thinking more like a chorus or phaser, and having had a CE-2W and Utility Knife, I'm wondering if I even like modulation. The Polytope's extreme settings don't move me at all, and was wondering if the Arcing Prisms could do the chorus in a pinch when I need it while also being able to cover more esoteric stuff that's more my jam than the Polytope's. Sounds like it might. I may end up just getting a Bass Waterfall or something though, just to make sure standard chorus isn't really for me.

Oh you betcha! Xerograph DUALuxe. Using the EHX Switchblade Pro, the XeroD's are run in parallel to utilize the UP and DOWN filter sweeps - simultaneously! Dialed in, the combination can produce those throaty vocal formant filter sounds like an EHX Bassballs or Aguilar Filter Twin, only obviously much, much better. Thicker. With the Subt, it's like those "Mama Tried" flat track motor bike races where they cover the floor in soda syrup. Brrraappbppb!
I previously was using the EHX SBPro to run the Subt and BroSVD in parallel because I love 'em both but can't use them both together. Other than that, I feel almost complete with this board. Thinking about a drive/fuzz of some sort, and maybe I'll throw my Boss Tera Echo back on for funsies.

That's a sweet board! The dual Xero is a nice touch. I wish I had 2 to try that now.

There's enough space for at least 4 more pedals on there! It definitely needs some dirt.

Hi @Taylor Livingston, the new”ish” website looks great. Unfortunately there is no menu to navigate through the site on iOS mobile. The desktop version has a menu which makes going to the shop very quick. Not sure if this is by design but just wanted you to know in case it isn’t.

I just received a new old XeroD v1. I may have had another XeroD v1, but also may not remember how I dialed in the controls to taste. I have had a couple XeroD v2s and still have one. Anyway, check the pics; these are relatively close sounding settings, but they’re about 30% different… just noticing.

BTW, the new old v1 sounds killer.

Just curious, what do you use the second Xerograph for since you already have one in the Dubterrograph?

I decided to experiment a bit with my IE stash and see what sounded good and what sounded great...

At first, I tried the dub > oxide which fricken rules...but then FMeron was out of place next in the chain. XD did real well after dub>oxide. Arcing Prisms makes most sense last and worked across the board except where I had it set to a really resonant filter.

Oxide > dubT didn't work for me that much. It was cool but similar to what you get with the synth footswitch on the DubT alone.

DubT>FMeron is like all the little cars coming together for Voltron. I never really geled with the FMeron in the past...and I'm pretty sure it's cause I hadn't tried dubT>FMeron. Wow. Like PB&J

I also found that the XD did better a bit later in the chain particularly when using it for a sweep vs env follower. Env follower, your mileage may vary depending on what you are going for, but with the sweeps...YES!

At the end of the day...what glorious pedals...wish I had the others. Also...the oxide is an incredibly sick sick pedal. More of those should be made.

For those of us too impatient to wait for a fuzz that's not even on the product list anymore, what would you put between the DubT and XD? Saw a guy on the Brotone thread using the Spaceman Nebula, then found the Zach Rizer video from 2018, which has got me thinking thatd be a good choice.

For those of us too impatient to wait for a fuzz that's not even on the product list anymore, what would you put between the DubT and XD? Saw a guy on the Brotone thread using the Spaceman Nebula, then found the Zach Rizer video from 2018, which has got me thinking thatd be a good choice.

Oxide is based on the Brass master. Honestly a lot of dirt would do good in that spot. Lean toward the sputtery ones.

Does anybody made a comparison with the Broughton Maestro ? Seems to be the best (and rare) brassmaster redesign on the market ?
