My SubT arrived today. I think it looks fantastic. Paired it with my XD and it sounds great. So many sound options in there and I am so looking forward to exploring this pedal. It will be interesting to see how I make it fit in with the bands.

My Polytope came yesterday. Looks great. At first, when I plugged it in, it was a little unintuitive. Kinda had to go to the manual to understand what all was going on. But now that I've got an experiential idea of what the knobs do, I'm really liking it.

An interesting aspect of the fact that it's a pitch-shifter rather than a delay-line based chorus is that it's very rhythmically tight. When you have a very thick chorus, the delayed signal kinda "smears" the attack of the note. With the Polytope, you don't get that. It feels rhythmically tighter. I like it. I also find that having no LFO is actually pretty interesting, because while it's a static detune, you get LFO-like beating from the detuned notes.

Just listed my super frantabit, which I'll surely regret selling, in case anyone is interested:

how is it compared to a regular frantabit - did you end up using all the extra features? I generally use my frantabit with a expression pedal so i can blend in some affected sounds (which I love). thx
