I need to spend more time with the FMeron but I really can't decide between the Sub or the Dub. They both seem way too cool.
Still got some thinking to do on placement and need to make some more cables before I cable it all up, but I’m gonna sit on this for awhile. I really wanted to keep the pedalboard size to a jr., and this is pushing it.
I’m gonna send the Frantabit, definitely Xerograph and probably the Arcing Prisms to my Source Audio Reflex.
If anybody’s on the fence about the FMeron...go for it...such a deep killer pedal!

Thanx for the words man, I mean with all the positive information about how to approach the FMeron that’s been coming through this thread lately its not much of a stretch, but that was a very good succinct push! If luck has it there are a number of IE pedals I’m into.
And OMG BG, look at that Iron Ether collection! Nice. I’m loving the plain-Jane look of that Subterranea actually. I wish I’d purchased the Blue one that was in the classifieds a few weeks back. Not because I needed it or that I’m some kind of hoarder. I just have a genuine affinity for the Subterranea. I was having my coffee that Saturday morning and there it was. I was on the fence on account of already having a SubT, planing/saving for the Dubterranea and the fact that while certainly attractive, I don’t think of the Subterranea as “Blue”. To me it’s way more gritty, legit and “street” than anything out there. Kinda more “brown”. Then again this is coming from someone who’s Orange is young, full of daring but very unsteady for the first go-round!
Am I to understand the SA Reflex is the expression pedal thing in the picture? Regardless I find that an interesting statement: “sending” multiple analog signals to it. I am aware of the SA dual Exp. Pedal whereby it is my understanding that one can control a MIDI enables device and a TRS analog pedal, not simultaneously but from one Exp. thread. I don’t know for sure but that seems like the idea.
Yes, the SA Reflex is a really versatile expression pedal that I believe is discontinued. Sometimes one will pop up on Reverb. It has 3 analog expression outputs, 2 midi, and one sensor for the SA pedals. Plus 128 “midi recall able” presets. So you can control 3 of the IE pedals at once with it.
Shoulda PM’d this Q. Cuz it sounds like a Latest-Version-I.E. wet dream, and a rare commodity. Oh well, another page to refresh.
A couple have popped up fairly recently and sat longer than expected so there is a chance. Someone on the Broughton thread may have one to sell
Maybe check out the Invalid Link Removed. It lets you control up to 3 pedals individually or simultaneously using one expression pedal.
Thank you MG & Jimbo, I have been holding off purchasing a controller ever since I got my Xenograph Deluxe, not incredibly long, about 2 runs ago. But long enough considering what it will open up. I want to get this right and the expression range knob on the latest Iron Ether creations/iterations widens the field nicely. My first inclination is, although pricy, the Dunlop Mini. solid and concise. But given the I.E. pedals that I own, plan to own or would like to try, some of which that include remote expression control, it makes sense to wait and see.
Which brings me to the next element to consider, digital or digitally controlled pedals. I am into no way an analog purest, but I know my inclinations, and if something feels like a chore it won’t get done. However the integration of digital elements into a pedal to automate functions is probably under my nose anyway and my needs are basic compared to a lot of folks here.
Add to that I’m still working with the C4 synth and for me I think it will serve me best in an “Oscillator With benefits” role, but that just me. Especially if I can find “Source Audio’s free library of bonus effect algorithms”. How to find??? Using the C4 I got a terrific sound running a very robotic OC2 thing thru the DOOM2 into the Xenograph! Love my XD. Kinda still looking for the right fuzz for me tho. It’s things like a C4, while 6 settings are fine with me, that need consideration. I just don’t think I need to go down that path to far.
Getting with the Boughton crew is a great idea MG, I have something kinda rare that those peeps might be into, something that my I.E. stuff does more to my liking.
