Nimbus SE in the classifieds. No affiliation.
New XD on da Verb. $$$$. No affiliation.
Damn...and sold. I guess I don't have to worry about breaking even on an XD if I snag one of the new designs and want to sell my older one?
Oxide in the classifieds.
Pricey Fmeron currently on the verb from Taiwan. No affiliation
I continue to be completely thrilled with my Oxide, Polytope and Xerograph Dlx, but wow I'm glad I picked them up when I did (all from the Classifieds). Quite the commodities, these days!
Polytope on reverb
Quite the price!
Dubterranea on reverb with a hefty price tag
I’d gladly pay that price... for a 20 knob Xerograph.
I’m gonna keep pushing for this dream.
Paid less for a 68 bassman with the 2x15 cab
There's a Nimbus in the classifieds. Sweet price! Not affiliated.
I mean we are partly to blame for the raised prices. We build these pedals up to be unobtainable one of a kind devices. I am not surprised at the price gouge. I mean they sell.
It’s only price gouging to those who don’t pay the asking price. Don’t agree necessarily but talkbass is notorious for this kind of stuff. And it finds it’s way to reverb.
It is price gouging for those who pay it also I think but that's the price for not waiting for Taylor to make more. I'd much rather pay less obviously but that how it goes. A few years back you could buy pretty much any pedal second hand for ~25$ less than retail. It's still the case for most pedals. Mostly only hard to get or discontinnued pedals fetch crazy prices. It's how things have evolved. To the delight of some and dismay of others.
Dubterrograph in the classifieds. No affiliation.
I wonder when we will see the first IE clones!
Since I couldn't get the Xerograph for a long time, I started to dig into filters and pedals.
I thought I might be able to build a filter within a year. As a total beginner with the help of a electronics technician.
..I was so wrong and ignorant!
Your work gave me the last motivational boost I needed to get started with this stuff.
Now I've learned that it will take a long time to build my own pedals from scratch.
It's a long long road. And working with DSP is far far away.
But still, I built my first preamp pedal according to instructions and here I am tinkering with a common emitter circuit. -The first thing anyone builds when they are interested in pedals!
I've learned a lot in the last few months and found a new hobby.
You see, your work doesn't just have an impact on people's music.
After being after an XD for a while unsuccessfully I decided to take a different approach.
I have an IE Oxide that I never thought to SELL/TRADE … unless in exchange for an IE Xerograph Deluxe…
If there is any interested PM me
