Awesome! Would love to hear a clip of the OC-2->Mastotron->XD chain. :)

Here you are! Just Supercomp - OC2 - Mast - XD - MXR DI for the Coloring
- First 2 Riffs are in 4 pole mode
- the others are in 2pole mode
After, there are some non musical examples in full range of the XD:
- First the Mastorton without filter,
- then the 2pole mode without Res and then with 50% Res.
- then the 4pole mode without Res and then with 50% Res.

Download file OC2MASTXD.mp3

YESS!! After googling "xerograph" every day for months, it's here!
I am/was a guitar player for 12 years, who never bought any single effect pedal.
Now here I am 2 years after picking a Bass and spending money on effects (...thank you John Davis :p)
My first ampless synth-bass bedroom-setup is complete! ...tbh, we know, it's never complete.
I'm deeply amazed by the sounds you can get with the XD!
Such nice and clear sweeps! My new quest is, to get a Nimbus! Taylor rulz!

Did you break into my house?

No, I still have all mine. Well, I know those sound good!

Great sound. Are you able to share the settings for this?
Sure!
Fast Mode, 4 Pole, DOWN Mode
Reso 10 o'clock, Sens 11 o'clock, Freq 2 o'clock, Filter Vol only
Either without expression pedal or pedal in heel position(or EXP knob on 0).
The controlls are very sensitive and wide. You gotta find that sweet spot. But luckily there are only 2 Knobs.
Also rolled off some High Freqs on the Fuzz, so that percussive attack won't be too high pitched and annoying.

Did you break into my house?
Would it be worth it? Where?

After going through basically every sweepable low pass filter option out there, I am so so so sad that I can’t get my hands on a 3-knob Xerograph again.

I feel like my musical creativity is entirely on hold! Ha.
Yes… the 3-knob Xero is THE BEST sweepable low pass filter ever. That’s why I keep one on my board even though I also have a Dubterrograph on it.

Here it is. But I honestly don’t remember if these settings caused the issue or if these are after I played with it trying to fix the issue View attachment 4273406
The only thing I see is the Filter volume knob is much higher than where I usually set mine. Is there a big volume jump when you engage the pedal and play? How about when the filter opens all the way?
