lulz. makes me wish i like reverb on bass. still, the Xero is never leaving my board, and the Oxide is just a powerful BEAST. very rarely is it out of reach.

Sound Chaser is a good cat, seemed to me to just be venting frustration about some awesome ideas of Mssr. Livingston's that we'd all like to be able to get our hands on, but maybe got discussed too early in the design process, or the realities of how many people want his current line of pedals slowed them down from getting to the completed stage.... wasn't rude or douchey to me. i too wish every wobbley little effect idea that passes through that head would just pop into real worl pedal form right away.

but i'm with Ryan. waiting a bit for him to be satisfied with what he puts out has left me with the best filter i've owned, and a fuzz that i'd stack up against any other one, and does so damn much.

sigh. if something COULD convince me to get some chorus on bass.... this'd be it. and i LIKE the sparkly finish. pretty.

but i'm a hige IE fan boy.

I think Taylor is one of the few truly creative builders out there producing new pedals from the ground up that we can actually buy and even more amazingly... work better that most in the real world of making music.

first off... (BUMP) had to go to like page 5 to find this thread

i second Mr. Dean here. not only is Taylor a 1 man wrecking crew when it comes to GASING up the forum but also he is designing pedals that do what we want them to. makes great pedals that do great things.
he thinks about purpose and usefulness.
most importantly not how well does a pedal work but how well a pedal works (on bass) and im thankful for that

I am really glad that this pedal is available to all and not a one off special order job.

Reverb and bass often gets a bad rap and is (imo) severely under represented in the bass world.
Obviously it's not an everyday/every song effect but I really like me some Verb on bass, more often than I thought I would.
I'm hoping Taylor's Algorithm will give us a Reverb that becomes an integral part of the sound it's effecting, as opposed to sitting on top of the sound like a blanket.

It keeps me calm looking at the "finished product" and helps me plan placement and stuff.

its definitely the effect i have been looking for. as soon as this pedal was mentioned on here about 2 or 3 weeks ago i contacted taylor and payed for mine in advance. i have been waiting for a bass reverb and i didnt feel like waiting on clips or anything i just trusted taylor in his awesomeness to get the job done you know
