Iron Ether Subterranea

I was patiently waiting on a shipping notice when I started to read this thread from the start figuring it would give me ideas and help pass the time.

Then I stumbled onto this:

Did not help!!

But dang man! I love it! Do you guys have a live album out :D

Hey, just saw this share thanks! This band is on a permanent-ish hiatus and we never recorded anything we were going to release. If you check out archive.org, there are a ton of show recordings up. Just search for Jazzam. You can also find the entire show this clip was pulled from on YouTube. Our keyboard player was having a very hard time keeping his Arturia synth in tune, so there are some cringe worthy moments in there!

I'm happy to see Taylor is getting through the orders and very excited to see what lies next for IE. My SubT and Polytope are mainstays on my board.

OK! So played around with it a bit and found some killer sounds! Debating where to stick this sucker in my chain. I hear the noise that pedal may have been describing, but honestly, it's not very noticeable. Maybe it's because I have so many damn pedals? Dunno. Either way, my clean tone is dead silent and when I play the pedal I only hear it slightly when the pedal is using only the octave section. It's very slight though. Weird.

At any rate, this pedal, plus the B7K and Bitquest are AMAZING together. I'm using the Bitquest as a flanger, so it'd probably sound good with any flanger. Digging it a lot so far.

Yeah, the bleed is very slight and basically it's just when the synth voices are totally off you still hear a bit of it in the clean octave. It probably wouldn't have been that noticeable but I ended up selling mine because I use a clean octave sound more than dirty...but dang the SubT sounded good as a synthy octave!

First gig with SubT earlier, great sound! Dial in the synth voices for some crunchy highs instead of sansamp drive.
I am very pleased.

So I mainly use octaves with dirt, not really ever clean. If I didn't love the tafm I'd consider selling, the subterranea totally replaces that fuzz tone I use for our synthy songs. Although it doesn't have as much sustain... anybody have a setting that has sustain? Oh and for those who care, the axtron oc5 octave pedal was on the right track with the synth octave generator. I found one on eBay and you'd be surprised how similar these two sound..

except maybe changing the waveform switch, I don't see which control could help with that. I asked myself the same thing yesterday after trying some long sustaining notes, but didn't have too much time to fiddle with it during rehearsal
