Iron Ether Subterranea

I'd say the polytope and delay are the main ones but the Frantabit can be added to bring out some nice vowel like qualities and the Oxide just gives extra options with the dirt side of things.

I should add that the You're Doom adds a really nice bouncy feel to the Sub T especially if you're just using it as a clean Octave.

Cheers

+1 to a Polytope and a delay (El Capistan for me). Phaser also adds a lot of depth. I haven't found the need for gated fuzz with my Subterranea personally. A little extra drive or compression can sound cool with it though (I like mine through my TFR for both of those effects, which smooths it out nicely).

Octo Synth off, Octave 3 O'Clock, Filter Completely Counter Clockwise, Clean Noon, Uni Synth Noon - Square Wave.

Now, it sounds good in its own right, however, here is my chain with this:

Bass > SFX EQ (just a bit of treble bump) > SubT > JohnK F2B (Bass and mid bump) > Bajo MOS Gain at 1 > Enabler (Just mid bump) > Meatsmoke Pre on Boost Channel (Gain 11 - Bass 1 - Mid 1 - Treble 1 - Master 10 > UA 6176 Flat + Compressor at 4:1

Crazy crazy crazy sound

Unfortunately (for me), you blew right by me with the whole Meatsmoke-Pre thing. Got to get me one of those one of these days.

Well, those settings work super well into any overdrive or fuzz. Also just the SubT alone at those settings works amazingly well. I actually have been always starting just with the SubT and just adding dirt slowly on top of it.

This is a really cool setting. I like it with just the Sub T but also into a Proton or You're Doom. So glad I tried it because rut helped me understand how to use the uni synth better. Much like the You're Doom you can add a bass boosted sound with the tone rolled off into the SubT to act as a clean blend to fatten up the sound of the Uni synth. So cool, it's helped me find something I've been looking for!

Thanks nshuman!
