Seems like there should be a name for the p with a j neck, but I've not heard one

Well, if that was the case, it would be possible to have a bass that is a PJPJ or a PJJP!

Is it the Base of a Bass that determines the Bass? If my Precision had Strat SSSSSSSSSS pickups would it still be a Precision? Or a Strat?
