if so, in what songs?
I was listening to californiacation today (it's been a while since the last time I heard that one, what a classic!) and then " Parallel Universe" came up...
and I listned carefilly but still wasn't sure...
please enlighten me

you are correct he does use a pick for alot of the quicker songs, ppl have listed most of them.

he def uses a pick of parrallel uni to keep it all in time plus for the tone, btw album was mostly fingers, with some pick.

Actually if you look at it, most of the songs he uses a pick on are slower. Besides the obvious exceptions.
