She is involved so deeply in so many artistic medium that I was helping her out at the time- and me too, as she couldn't tour as much as the rest of us. We started performing together in earnest again after 10 years of marriage. You fired your wife and lived to tell the tale?
Wow!
This is how it is for us. I joined her band and we worked together for 10 months before her toxic relationship - not with a band member - came to an end. We’re best friends and we do a lot of stuff together besides playing music.. we’ve been together 37 years - still going strong and still working together. My wife and I met, and began dating, when we were in a band together. That was 37 years ago and we're still married and still in a band together. But is does add complications. I think it really comes down to the personalities involved (the couple, and the other bandmates) and the level of professionalism of all involved.

Yes. Her playing is so funky, smooth and really impressive on its own. The way she sings over it is the craziest part.Indeed! She’s so in the pocket and can sing. Probably my favorite bassist.
An Interview with Rebecca Johnson
Have to ask: what'd you do?Wife made me sleep in a hotel Saturday night by myself. There were times in this marriage when I have deserved that, this was not one of those times.
I can turn a corner? What are you talking about???Ike and Tina Turner…..wait…..never mind…..
One of my favorite movies. As it relates to this thread getting involved with the singer definitely broke up the act. Michelle Pfeiffer should have released an album of songs from the movie. This thread reminds me of a really great film involving pretty much this exact scenario.

Yep. I’ve been calling her the sheep for years. Never been a fan. She's the GOAT!
Not the greatest of all time, she sounds like a goat.
Maybe OP thinks singers should come with expiration dates. Are you talking carbon dating?
