I’ve been married to the lead singer for 37 years with no issues. We have worked together in many different scenarios as well as separate projects. Right now we are in two bands together with no problems plus I have a duo that doesn’t involve her. It can work.I'd been dating the lead singer for 2 months now but I heard that's generally frowned upon to date your bandmates is it true?
It worked out okay for No doubt. My previous band the guitarist and singer started dating. It was never an issue for the band. They did a great job of keeping their personal lives personal.
Be prepared to make biased, band related decisions, make everyone else in the band uncomfortable at some point, and no longer have music be your " getaway".
Other then that its great.

You fired your wife and lived to tell the tale?I'm married to my band mate. We met through music. We were in bands early on, I kicked her out of one lol.
It is all good though, 25 years and we are happy.
That said, I'd ask extra pay to be on the outside of that![]()

Those two are class all the way!Seems to have worked out pretty well for Pat Benetar and Neil Giraldo... but of course, he wasn't the bass player...
Good luck to you though! Be happy!
