I knew about Modulus and what they had done with graphite; so I ordered my FU4 from a dealer. It arrived, it played insanely beautiful, and that was that.
Yes, it would be good if a happy voice answered "Good Morning! Modulus Basses! How may we help you?"
But c'mon.
Do you need that?
Yes, you say, if there's a problem, but that should be handled by the Dealer.
Jauqo III-X is right. I believe Modulus operates out of a small industrial space, builds basses to Dealer Order, and probably has a minute staff.'
Of course IF they ae not going to continue, they need to make arrangements to finish up pending Work Order, but it seems that it may NOT be the case. Time will tell.
Once,I wanted to speak with Modulus regarding a MI-related business issue; the ignored my message, never returned E-Mails,
That became my answer-"Not interested". I can deal with it. Yes,. it would have been nice if they had said "Thanks for asking, but NO!" I have no doubt IF they would have been interested, they would have contacted me. (BTW, it was regarding imprinted gigbags, which would have been the shizz IMO!)
One thing that I thought was always buggy was their Online Store, which did not work- Why have it up?
I forgive them! Their basses are one-of-a-kind, super well-done.
I hope the talk of them going down is wild rumour, and they get it together.
As for whether I get to talk with them; Not needed. I'll just be happy enough to play my Modulus Bass.
Obviously-this does NOT apply to whomever may have an instrument pending for repair or special order etc. Of Course they would need to communicate that- If nothing else through their Dealers.
