Is Modulus still in Business?

I would rather imagine that someone here on TB lives close enough to the Modulus workshop to swing by to see if it's boarded up or if there's any activity there.

Wouldn't that settle things?

I looked at it on Street View and it appears to be gated. If they're not making a public announcement, I imagine that they wouldn't be happy about people poking around and I wouldn't want to risk a trespassing charge and a free ride by the Po Po.

Just think; if Modulus was quasi-successful operating the company like the 3 stooges and having very d-baggy customer service - what could have it become if they had outstanding customer service? Or ran the business like some of their successful competition?

Nice job bringing the TBX back only to have the company collapse in failure.

Just think: if people here were actually contributing posts that weren't just d-baggy snarky comments. What kind of great conversation could we have?

You've made it clear you don't like Modulus and their business practices. Of what, exactly, are you trying to convince those of us who still harbor some hope and/or good will toward Modulus and its employees? Why all this character assassination? Seriously, what are you hoping to accomplish? With so much animosity, I would imagine you'd have a lot better things to do.

True that. I guess I made my point that I think their basses are awesome and that the company itself sucks ass.

I'll try to move on and I apologize if I've been repetitive.

I walked over to Guitar Center at lunch and was stunned when I saw this in their used section. Plugged in and played for about 15 mins. Price tag said $1999. I took some other photos that include the serial # if anyone is interested.

"is modulus still in business?"
at this point who knows. i bet it's a pretty small percentage that really cares either way.[/QUOTE]

I care! I just bought a brand new $3,600.00 Modulus Q5 fretless back in December of 2012. And I would really like to know if they are out of business. What do I do if the neck goes out. Am I f**k*d!

I guess I am one of the ones who helped drag this thread on and I apologize for doing so but I think I have a vested interest in this situation as well as any Modulus owner should.

You know the squeeky wheel gets the grease. I was hoping that someone from Modulus would pipe in and tell us Modulus owners what is going on. I don't think that is too much to ask of them.

I love my Q5 fretless. I waited a long time to get it. And I don't regret buying it. But it really bums me out that now there might not be a company to back it up if something goes wrong with it.

I won't post anymore on this thread.

Hey someone from Modulus. Step up to the plate and let us know what's up.

I care about whether or not they're in business. It would be rather nice if we could get something official from them, because if they're closing shop then I need to buy another Q5 now before prices skyrocket.
