Ok, yes. But I don't get that version on my phone for some reason. The word graphite doesn't appear.

They were in Mars' inventory but that doesn't mean that they were paid for. Then when the company folded, Modulus only got pennies on the dollar.
Why don't ya'll ask them on their facebook page...geez

Look, Jauqo III-X has posted that he knows what's going on but can't say. Fair enough, he hasn't BS-ed before, why should he start now?
I'm just going to sit back, see what happens and leave it at that.
Source? That's highly unlikely. The blow was that Modulus wasn't going to receive any more orders from Mars.

I'm just going by what my friend, who owns two music stores told me. Which is that he owns most of his inventory. Maybe not standard procedure? I dunno.
For small luthiers, and Modulus definitely qualified as small, dealers buy stock. Fender has been well publicized as being owed money by GC, but they're not small.
Most small luthiers are building instruments on a razor thin margin. They can't afford to consign instruments anywhere.

If they were folding, we'd know already.

That's what I'm saying. Very few stores take new merchandise on consignment terms.
Very few may take it on consignment, but is it possible that they could have been on net60 or net90 terms, which could have....possibly....left them holding the bag in a bankruptcy.
If they were folding, we'd know already. If that changes, I will or an endorser will let you know. So chillax![]()
