I tried their email and as pointed out earlier it is bouncing back so as least two modes of contact are no longer active.

Endorsing artist =/= company PR rep.
I'm betting you couldn't get a phone call or email through right now, either.

I made this comment earlier in this thread, and it seems to have been deleted. The average endorser will not have any inside information, or be involved in any way with the day to day operations of the company. They might be in a position to hear a little gossip, but it's unlikely.
Source? That's highly unlikely. The blow was that Modulus wasn't going to receive any more orders from Mars.
Wrong. They were on credit. I worked there.
.
FWIW if we are taking bets:
1. Joe P has left the Company and wants to start a new business, possibly because of some kind of falling out / disagreement with his partners / shareholders.
2. The business is going through issues with IP at the moment and can't produce Modulus brand basses until its resolved.
3. The end result may be the "existing" company resurfaces (perhaps with another brand name) and Joe P resufaces with a new bass building venutre that is not significantly different from Modulus.
If they were folding, we'd know already. If that changes, I will or an endorser will let you know. So chillax![]()

Do you work for or endorse Modulus? I'm curious how you'll let us know if you aren't connected to the company...

They had lots of Modulus inventory when they folded in late 2002. I'm sure Modulus has never fully recovered financially from that blow.
Whether they went out of biz, they're going out of biz, planning to restructure their biz, or whatever.. One thing i know is what they are doing right now is extremely BAD BIZ. Modulus is showing their customer base that they only care about themselves and not the people who they've been making a living on for decades - by ignoring everyone, canceling email accounts, not answering the phone, and staying silent on threads like these. That's pathetic. Grow a pair Modulus and let the people who have supported you know where they stand. Or just ignore everyone because its to hard too come out and let the public know what's going on.
