Is my GAS gone for good??

Happy Easter TB! I have been in isolation as most of us have. In that time I have scoured the classifieds endlessly between TB, Reverb and Ebay. I have viewed almost every bass manufacturer and absolutely NOTHING has caught my interest. I have been exclusively playing these 3 below and have been very content. They cover pretty much everything. Who knows, maybe there will be some GAS attacks after this crazy virus ends..Maybe not..

That's a nice stable!

I'm 95% GAS free. I have a MIM 50s P, 60s Jazz, Ray 34CA, and custom L2k with jazz neck and single coil mod. I have a vague interest in a US SB-2, but not near enough to pull the trigger. GAS has been confined to some minimal compressor and overdrive pedal experimentation.

I reach for the L2K 95% of the time. I was thinking of doing a corona lockdown recording experiment to see how closely I can duplicate the P, J and Ray tones with the L2K. I bet I can get reallllll close. Then I can sell the other 3 and buy more gear...no wait...:D

G.A.S. can subside, but it can be sneaky and comeback and really getcha! :)

All it takes is something different or gorgeous or a great deal and it comes creeping back.

There’s an Ibanez SRMS 800 on Reverb right now that is just gorgeous and I can’t get it off my mind. Never been into multi-scale basses either, but this could be the one!

thinking GAS is gone is like saying you'll never eat bacon again. not gonna happen for most mortal men.
