Is search of a Smith

When I sold it Note had a USA address, but I learned that it was to a freight forwarder, NoteJung, does not have the info of who he traded it too.
Note is in Thailand

Are we able to establish if there are any Facebook groups specifically for bassists in Thailand? That would be my first line of appeal there as there is the potential for the trail to go cold. If Notejung can't recall who he sold it to, can he remember how he sold it? To a shop? Through a forum?

I sent Note a link to this thread. I’m hoping he has info to add.
I just put a craigslist add up in Thailand.
I did a search and didn’t see anything, but as was said the language thing might be a barrier

Google translate will generate Chinese characters. I believe you need to select "traditional chinese" id post in english then pop your text into translate and include the chinese characters as well.

Maybe hit up Notejung again to shake out specific information about where he shipped the bass when sold, or to whom he sold it. You could offer reward money if you have it, for his efforts and time. He is your best shot. It could be anywhere, but whoever owns it may very well be a serious player or collector, someone who spends more than the casual player for instruments at least.

Well if Notejung shipped the bass then it wasn't a local cash deal.

Most likely a paypal transaction. If you have close and approximate ship/sale dates it would be pretty easy for him to get buyer information based on the financial transaction. Offer him some $$ for his time. It would be pretty easy to do.

I just sent a message, I honestly think he just doesn’t have the info any longer.

I’ve tried Craigslist Thailand and reaching out to some Thai bassist, no luck so far, but I have a feeling this one will be a journey
