I have a friend that graduated from Iron Mountain High School.

2 kids (of 38) went to college.

4/38 were pregnant.

3/38 were in alcohol/drug treatment.

38 is a large student/teacher ratio.....if most classes were that big i'd say those numbers were very good.....where i went,classes ofv 28-30 were considered large....

38 was the number of kids in his graduating class. Not in an individual class.

The 12th grade had a grand total of 38 students, and it was the BIGGEST of the 4 classes in the high school.

Wrong. It's just filled with English words, now. Watch French movies from France that have been made recently and there's a lot of English words being used as opposed to the real French terms. It's too bad.

Cheboygan, my in laws are up in Cheboygan. Just got home from a trip yesterday. Do you know Mary and Bob Heath? He works at Linde's and she works at the Toyota dealership.

Nope...don't know them. Neither does the Wife. We have shopped at Linde's though. Good store with good after sales service. Our sofa is from there.

If you had it delivered in about the last 8 years maybe, he delivered it. Tall dude, showing his age a bit but becasue he delivers furniture all day and loves the outdoors, he's in excellent shape. He also does moves and things like cutting tress on the side. they've lived in Cheboygan all their lives and now live on Inverness Trail Road.

She is a service writer for the dealership.

Yes..I know who you mean. Super nice guy. He had to come to our place a couple of times...cause the couch we bought had to be repaired. Linde's paid for half of the repair cost even though the warranty was over.

I'm Canadian and can say it gets tiresome hearing that stupid "eh" crap when so few people say it. I've lived in Montreal, Toronto, and have visited a bunch of cities in my lifetime and have heard maybe a handful of people say that.

Same goes with "aboot."

Only Newfies and other maritime folk say "eh" and "aboot".

I live in newfoundland and have never heard a single person say aboot here. I've heard Ontarionites say eh a lot, but never a newfoundlander. I've been to a few outports that are only accessable by boat, they're barely comprehensible there, but they don't say aboot.

Spent a weeked last summer "up at camp" at a relatives cabin just east of the Soo Ontario. I'm sittin' by the lake sippin' a beer not 15 minutes and a guy from the next cabin over (who' from the Soo Canada) comes motoring up in his fishin' boat and says "beauty night, eh naybur?" I agree, to which he reply's "yah, gonna be a beauty of a sunset too, I'll bet ya, eh?" I live up north but never hear people talk like that till I cross at least one bridge.
