But even if you`re playing to the ashtrays you have to give it all you`ve got..you never know who`s gonna walk in the door. If a few people do walk in the door, and the band is on stage with a few members acting like they don`t want to be there, that`s the reputation that WILL circulate.
If you do bring your A game when the A/B ratio is super low the venue will notice that you still were professional and the chances of being rebooked are way higher.
