So, heres my question : I have a Crown Power Base I power amp. It is rated at 455 watts in both mono-bridged and parallel configurations at 4 ohms.. I run a pair of 8 ohm cabinets from it, resulting in 4 ohms. The question is - is there any difference in the two output configurations, other than the parallel mono is stable at 2 ohms? (I will (probably) never have more speakers added to produce 2 ohms, as what I'm currently running is plenty loud enough!) I can't see that there is, but I'm real stupid when it comes to advanced electronics! Any thoughts on this are appreciated!
